Resolving Bluetooth Connection Issues

  1. Ensure the NeXus device is powered on.
  2. Follow the steps to re-pair the NeXus device with your computer or another device.
  3. Avoid the presence of metal objects near the Bluetooth devices as metal can interfere with Bluetooth signals. It's advisable not to use laptops with metal housing for Bluetooth connections.
  4. Eliminate any metal obstructions that might be blocking the Bluetooth signal path.
  5. Make sure there is a clear line of sight between the NeXus device and your computer to ensure optimal connection quality.
  6. Keep the distance between the NeXus device and the computer to no more than 10 meters (approximately 33 feet) for a stable connection.
  7. Avoid using or placing other Bluetooth devices in close proximity to minimize signal interference.
  8. Likewise, keep other wireless devices that emit signals (like Wi-Fi, FM transmitters, etc.) as far away as possible from the Bluetooth connection to avoid disturbances.
  9. Opt to use the laptop on battery power rather than connected to the charger. This can sometimes help with connection stability.
  10. Refrain from using multiple Bluetooth dongles simultaneously as this can cause conflicts.
  11. If necessary, use a Bluetooth dongle and disable the computer's internal Bluetooth to enhance connectivity. Learn more about using a Bluetooth dongle here.
