Skin Conductance (SC), is the measurement of the electrical conductivity of the skin. During stress, the skin conductance and transpiration is expected to rise and become more variable. It reflects the level of psychological or physiological arousal, elicited by cognition or emotions. This response to a stimulus is called the phasic change. During relaxation, the skin conductance should decrease and it usually shows less variation. The smooth slow change of the skin conductance is a tonic change.
SC, how is it measured ?
Skin conductance is measured with 2 electrodes preferably on the fingers, |
