Bluetooth Connection Troubleshooting

Follow these steps to address any problems connecting your NeXus device via Bluetooth:
  1. Ensure the NeXus device is powered on.
  2. Attempt to pair the NeXus device again.
  3. Minimize the presence of metal objects near both the Bluetooth and NeXus devices, as metal can disrupt the Bluetooth signal. Avoid using laptops with metal casings for this reason.
  4. Remove any physical barriers that might obstruct the signal between the NeXus device and your computer.
  5. Ensure there's a clear line of sight between the NeXus device and your computer to facilitate better connectivity.
  6. Maintain a maximum distance of 10 meters between the NeXus device and your computer to ensure optimal connection.
  7. Avoid having other Bluetooth devices in close proximity to the setup.
  8. Minimize interference by keeping devices that transmit signals (e.g., Wi-Fi, FM transmitters) away from your equipment.
  9. Operate your laptop on its battery by disconnecting its charger/power supply to reduce potential interference.
  10. Avoid using multiple Bluetooth dongles simultaneously.
  11. Use a singular Bluetooth dongle and ensure the laptop’s internal Bluetooth is disabled.
