Bluetooth Connection Troubleshooting

Steps to Resolve Bluetooth Connection Problems

  1. Ensure the NeXus device is powered on.
  2. Attempt to re-pair the NeXus device to establish a fresh connection.
  3. Minimize the presence of metal objects near both the Bluetooth and NeXus devices, as metal can interfere with Bluetooth signals. It is advised not to use laptops with metal casings for this reason.
  4. Clear any physical obstructions, especially metal ones, that might impede the Bluetooth signal's path.
  5. Maintain a clear line of sight between the NeXus device and your computer to ensure an uninterrupted signal flow.
  6. Keep the distance between the NeXus device and the computer within 10 meters for optimal connectivity.
  7. Avoid the proximity of other Bluetooth devices to minimize signal interference.
  8. Limit the presence of devices emitting wireless signals (like Wifi, FM transmitters, etc.) near your setup, or place them as far away as possible.
  9. For laptop users, operate the device on battery power by disconnecting the charger to prevent potential interference.
  10. Avoid using multiple Bluetooth dongles concurrently to prevent signal confusion.
  11. Prefer using a dedicated Bluetooth dongle while disabling the computer's internal Bluetooth module for a more stable connection.
