To ensure your BioTrace+ software is up-to-date, follow these detailed steps:
- Initiate the update process by downloading the latest BioTrace+ version. Navigate to our downloads page where you can find the update. Use the right-click function on the link and choose 'Save target as...' to download. It's crucial to select the appropriate language and region for your download.
- After downloading the .exe file, decide on a saving location. We recommend placing it on your desktop for easy access. Prior to launching the installer, make sure the BioTrace+ application is completely closed.
- Double-click the downloaded .exe file to begin the installation. The setup will automatically search for any existing BioTrace+ installations on your system.
- Should there be multiple BioTrace+ installations, you'll be asked to choose which version you wish to update. Select the correct folder and proceed by clicking 'Next'.
- The update process will commence. Once finished, a confirmation will be shown, and you can select 'Exit' to close the installer. Your BioTrace+ software is now updated.
Please note, updating BioTrace+ might overwrite default content. We recommend backing up any modified default content, like edited screens, before you start. Fortunately, updates do not affect session or client data, and content named differently from the default will not be overwritten.
