Managing Clients and Sessions in BioTrace+
Adding a New Client
- Open BioTrace+ and navigate to Client Database. 
- Click Add New Client. 
- Fill in client details (Last Name and First Name are mandatory). 
- Click OK to save the client profile. 
Editing Client Information
- Open Client Database. 
- Select a client and click Edit Client. 
- Modify the necessary fields and click OK. 
Recording a New Session
- Ensure your NeXus device is connected. 
- Choose a training screen from the Home Menu. 
- Click Record in the Session Control Bar. 
- Select a client or create a new one. 
- Click Start Recording. 
- Click Stop when finished. 
- Click Yes to save the session and add a description. 
Reviewing Past Sessions
- Open Client Database. 
- Select a client to see their session list. 
- Click Open Session. 
- Click Play to replay the session. 
- Use the Session Control Bar to navigate through the session. 
Backing Up Sessions
- Go to Configuration > System Settings. 
- Check Use Data Directory. 
- Select a networked drive to store session data. 
- Click OK to apply settings. 
Using Feedback and Thresholds in BioTrace+
Types of Feedback
BioTrace+ provides multiple feedback options:
- Graph-based Feedback: Real-time data visualization. 
- Audio Feedback: Uses sounds or MIDI tones. 
- Video Feedback: Uses animations or imported video files. 
- Game-based Feedback: Interactive biofeedback games. 
Setting Thresholds
- Select a training screen in BioTrace+. 
- Locate the Threshold Controls on the right. 
- Click Manual Threshold to adjust levels manually. 
- Click Automatic Threshold for auto-adjustment. 
- To disable a threshold, click Disable Threshold. 
- Choose Train Up or Train Down to set training direction. 
- Right-click the graph and select Feedback Options & Thresholds for advanced settings. 
Importing Custom Feedback Content
- Go to File > Import Audio Files or Import Video Files. 
- Select the folder containing your media files. 
- Click Add to import files into BioTrace+. 
Analyzing Session Data in BioTrace+
Viewing a Session Overview
- Open a session in Client Database. 
- Click Session Overview. 
- Use zoom and scrolling to analyze specific data points. 
- Right-click to access analysis options. 
Computing Session Statistics
- Right-click the Session Overview screen. 
- Select Compute Statistics > On Entire Session. 
- View min, max, mean, and standard deviation values. 
Generating Trend Reports
- Open Client Database. 
- Select a client and click Trend Reports. 
- Click Create New Report. 
- Configure session data and analysis preferences. 
- Click Generate Report. 
Exporting and Importing Sessions in BioTrace+
Exporting Sessions
- Open Client Database. 
- Select a client session and click Export Sessions. 
- Choose export format ( - .bcd, ASCII, EDF, MATLAB, etc.).
- Click Save and select a destination folder. 
Importing Sessions
- Open Client Database. 
- Click Import Sessions. 
- Select a - .bcdfile and click Open.
- Choose an existing client or create a new one. 
- Click Next to complete the import process. 
Importing from NeXus Flash Memory
- Connect the NeXus device to your computer. 
- Open Client Database. 
- Click Import from Flash Memory. 
- Select session(s) to import. 
- Click Import Selected Sessions. 
- Click Recompute Session Overview to assign recorded data correctly.
