When you update your BioTrace+ software to a newer version, such as V2018, the process is designed to retain all your current data and settings. This includes any recorded sessions you have, as well as both standard and custom screens and channel sets that you've created or modified.
After the update, you can continue to access your BioTrace+ screens through the Screen Browser just as before. However, it's important to note that updating the software will overwrite any default content within the system. To avoid losing any modifications you've made to default screens and channel sets, we strongly recommend backing up this content before initiating the update process.
